Today, I am going to write about a different platform which is Second Life.
Imagine a virtual world that will let you experience most and even more of what you can do in real life. Second life gives you the opportunity to create virtual representations of yourselves called avatars. Users, in the game called residents, can be whoever they want or they just can be themselves. Avatars' appearances are designed by users as they wish. They can interact with other residents, objects, and places. Residents can go to social gatherings, live concerts, press conferences, and even college classes. It has its currency, the Linden Dollar, which is exchangeable with real-world currency. People can do a lot of things you can do in real life such as buying land, shopping for clothes and gadgets, or just visiting with friends. Besides, they can do more by creating buildings, producing something, and contributing to the virtual world. In spite of the fact that it is similar to some multiplayer real-world games, it is not a game since the producer company says that is a non-game virtual world. Briefly, it is a social virtual world where people meet and interact with each other.
